Will the Woolify topper fit my mattress?

Yes. Four elastic anchor straps adjust to fit any mattress 8″–18″ deep, including pillow-tops, hybrids, memory foam, and adjustable bases. The straps wrap each corner so the topper stays in place every night.

How do I clean and care for it?

Wool is self-cleaning. Its lanolin resists odors and bacterial growth, without washing. Spot-clean with cool water and mild soap, air-dry in sunlight, and fluff seasonally. Skip washing machines & dryers as much as possible. They damage wool fibers.

Will it have a chemical smell when I open it?

No off-gassing, no chemical smell. You may notice a faint natural wool scent from lanolin, it fades within a day of airing out. Wool isn’t treated with VOCs, formaldehyde, or flame retardants like foam, so there’s nothing artificial to outgas.

Where does the wool come from? Is it ethically sourced?

Our merino comes from small farms in New Zealand that practice mulesing-free shearing. The fleece is washed with hot water alone, never bleach or harsh chemicals and arrives at our atelier in Turkey with full traceability.
