How do salt lamps work?

Himalayn salt lamps emit negative ions. The bulb inside the lamp heats crystal and support the ionizing effect. The salt itself is hygroscopic and attracts the water from the surrounding. Due to heating, the water quickly evaporates and the beneficial negative ions get created during the evaporation process. They go on to bind with excessive positive ions and neutralize the electronic smog in room.

Warm Tip:

It is a little heavy, please make sure you secure it in some way or put it across the room where it can’t be accidentally knocked over.

In a humid environment, it needs to be on so that the heat can evaporate the moisture, otherwise it may melt. When you don’t use it, you should cover it up so that moisture cannot get to it.
